Our Wonderful Staff

  • Kate

    Kate started collecting coins as a young kid. She grew up in her grandparents' home, where her great grandparents' coins were there waiting to be searched through! She eventually worked her way up to Lead Numismatist at a coin shop in North Florida and branched off on her own to do things her way.

    When Kate's not at the shop, she's at home with Chad hanging out with their dog & two cats, exploring Florida beaches, fossil hunting, creating jewelry/pottery, or relaxing when she can.

  • Chad

    Our resident goober (he made me put that in here), Chad is our main sales guy and Kate's co-founder/fiancé. Chad does our eBay Live auctions, acts as a bodyguard at coin shows, processes new inventory, and is essentially a jack-of-all-trades. Chad was on the very ground floor of the business.

    When Chad's not slinging coins, he's at home with Kate chilling with their dog & two cats, doing handyman things, adventuring on his boat, or playing video games with Kate.

  • Tim

    Tim is a wealth of knowledge and specializes in foreign and ancient coins. He also tinkers with US coins & currency, and bullion when need be. With a Masters of Science in Archaeology and plenty of experience under his belt, he's quite the history buff.

    When Tim's not studying or selling pieces of US and world history, he's hanging out at home with his three dogs, exploring our local wildlife and beaches, or hanging out with his family.

Available Positions

Live Auction Host

This role is part-time with hourly pay starting at $15 with room for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Host live auctions on eBay selling coins, currency, and other collectibles.
  • Represent Kate's Collectibles in professionalism and transparency.
  • Sell collectibles for 3-6 hours.
  • Assist with eBay listings.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge & passion for Numismatics.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Outgoing personality with ability to sell collectibles for 3-6 hours.

Coin Shop Associate

This role is part-time with hourly pay starting at $15 with room for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with viewing and purchasing collectible items available for sale.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and appearance.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Support other roles within the shop.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years retail or other customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of numismatics, antiques, and other collectibles.
  • Able to lift 40+ pounds.
